About me
Esteban is an interior design student at Parsons The New School, focusing on sustainability and environmentally responsible practices. With a background in interior architecture and a deep respect for nature shaped by his upbringing in Colombia, he is committed to using design to serve others and promote environmentally conscious practices in the industry. Growing up in a family of doctors, public servants, and humanitarian workers instilled in him a strong sense of social responsibility that continues to guide his work.
At Parsons, Esteban is developing practical skills and industry knowledge while taking full advantage of New York City’s vibrant design community. He envisions working with a mission-driven firm in New York City, where he can advocate for sustainable building practices and support policy changes that advance environmental goals within the industry. Through his work, Esteban aims to create thoughtful, responsible spaces that have a lasting, positive impact on people and the environment.
